Michael Timothy ...I play, therefore I am

Don't you just hate the little heart people use on stuff? I heart this, I heart that! Makes no sense to me.

But I just couldn't fit all the words I wanted to use on the button so I settled for the little heart. Don't hate the button because I couldn't think of anything better to use. It's very sensitive.

Anyhow, I've been a music hearter for just about as long as I can remember. That would explain why I made a section of this website to express that.

Here you'll find various music related bits & pieces of my life. I've got some updating to do and add my current gear and info on "the band" that is currently in development.

I can't wait to start on the website for the band once we fill in the blanks and decide on a name.

Got a great name for a rock band? Submt a band name and impress me!

More to come on "the band". I just wish I had pictures of me playing the tuba in 7th grade.

Oh... pay no mind to the spandex clad dancing clown to the right. He's got issues.

It's ok to laugh.

GRAFFIXX

Back in the late 80's I was in a band called GRAFFIXX. When hair bands ruled the world.

If you look closely, maybe you can recognize the drummer in GRAFFIXX. His name is Christopher Kinder.

He is currently playing with Jon Olivas Pain... touring the world... living like a rockstar...

Fucking awesome!! We're all happy for you Chris!

And, if you look less closely, you should be able to recognize the bass player as the one and only James Dean (who was also a member of SinBud (see below) even earlier). Whom I'm currently playing with again after all these years. If you can't recognize him, it's likely due to the fact that he wears a LOT less kabuki makeup these days. And spends a lot less time teasing his hair as well. Aaah, the good old days!

We had a ton of fun back then that's for sure. Stuff you don't dare do (or post on a website, tell you children about, etc. etc.) today!

Here's a some shots to show off our shiny spandex. I'd have to say that what we lacked in long-term success, we more than made up for in our splendid use of hair products and alcohol consumption.

Clicking on them works...

SINBUD

SINBUD Even farther back in the late 70's early 80's I was in another band called SINBUD (we never inhaled, I swear!). We were barely old enough to play in bars but we drank like professionals. This is a site that I built as a memorial of sorts to our bass player that for some reason decided that he had had enough of this ride and decided to get off early. We all still miss him.

Here is "most" of that original website. There are a couple of sections with some missing pictures... some editing is needed all the way around.

I do have the entire site on CD if anyone would like a copy for your archives. Email me and I'll be sure you get one.

There's some great pictures in there and I spent a TON of time building it.
