"I don't hear it either. But if I did, I know it would be loud"
...welcome to my home... page
I've heard about this my whole life - June 23RD, 2008 ---- MTBondo
For as long as I can remember, I've heard about this. Perhaps, I saw it on tv at some point when I was young. I was 6 or so years
old when it happened. I can't remember what I ate for lunch let alone something I may have seen on tv 40 years ago.
I stumbled upon the actual video of it today.
What the hell is it?
Something that won't mean a lot to most people at all, actually.
What it is, is the first televised perfect game of bowling... ever.
However, there is another element that means more (to me) than that.
Play the short video below, and see if you can figure out why it might mean a little more to me than most.
I guess I've resisted the urge until now mostly because I've had my own dubya.dubya.dubya (did I really just type that?), forever,
which I guess because of my "early adopter" geek factor, I've always thought of that type of web presence was somehow beneath me. What a jerk!
For me, it works as a place to put some of my original music out there for... me... to enjoy.
It handles the conversion of the mp3 files into their own streaming format very well. Minimal degredation. I dig it.
Or not. To be honest, I could care less what you do.
I have bigger fish to fry.
Newer doors to open.
Wider roads to cross...
Less brain cells than yesterday.
More reason to be optimistic than ever.
/me smiling... out loud
Another Update? I don't believe it! - June 1ST, 2008 ---- MTBondo
Yes, it's true. I'm finally thinking about this website again. I've let it grow stale and it's time to update some things,
and maybe even say some shit...
Lord knows I have plenty of material to draw from after all this time.
I can see how this could get out of hand in a hurry, and ultimately TMI for most and regurgitation of old news to those that
already know most of what I would likely write about... the biggest event being my mothers amazing story of illness and
recovery over the past year.
That one event in and of itself is enough source material for me, that I'm afraid to put
words to paper on the subject for fear of what might ultimately come out once I got started.
I'll save that for another forum I think. If anyone is unaware of what happened and would like to know, just send me and email and
I'll fill you in. It's all good now.
In any case, Mom is doing FANTASTIC!. She's currently up in western NY worrying about having the heat on in the morning.
Beginning of June... cold enough to need the heat on... blech!
Other than that, she's active and busy taking little trips hear and there, among a host of other things that keep her busy.
Truly a miracle Mom. I love you!
Heading in the other direction there is my daughter Michelle and her family...
She got married to her boyfriend Brett last year (surprise!), and little Gregory is now 4 years old, as of May 2nd, 2008.
They're still living in Texas... blech! (is there an emoticon for blech!?)
As long as they're happy, that's all that matters.
I love you too!
A couple of pics of my grandson Gregory that were posted before, but got lost in a shuffle.
