...welcome to my home... page

I've heard about this my whole life - June 23RD, 2008 ---- MTBondo

For as long as I can remember, I've heard about this. Perhaps, I saw it on tv at some point when I was young. I was 6 or so years old when it happened. I can't remember what I ate for lunch let alone something I may have seen on tv 40 years ago.

I stumbled upon the actual video of it today.

What the hell is it?

Something that won't mean a lot to most people at all, actually.

What it is, is the first televised perfect game of bowling... ever.

However, there is another element that means more (to me) than that.

Play the short video below, and see if you can figure out why it might mean a little more to me than most.

MySpace is my space - June 20TH, 2008 ---- MTBondo

I finally created my very own myspace page (click back there... <-- that way dummie).

I guess I've resisted the urge until now mostly because I've had my own dubya.dubya.dubya (did I really just type that?), forever, which I guess because of my "early adopter" geek factor, I've always thought of that type of web presence was somehow beneath me. What a jerk!

For me, it works as a place to put some of my original music out there for... me... to enjoy.

It handles the conversion of the mp3 files into their own streaming format very well. Minimal degredation. I dig it.

Can you dig it?

I knew that you could.

MySpace rocks.

And it works.

Well, there are aspects that bug me, but that's me being g'nit pickety.

Right now, I have 6 of my previously recorded (for... my entertainment) works.

4 original movements, and 2 covered movements for your listening pleasure.

Only those that are new to my universe, will likely find them new... to their universe(s).

I think that needs to be addressed, post haste (soon, with postage due).

At least it doesn't run on gas.

Ok, so like I said, I have a myspace page now. Have you been there yet?

No?

shit... where did I go wrong?

For those of you that need a roadmap to figure this one out, here it is.

http://www.myspace.com/mtbondo.

Go figure.

Strike that... go to MySpace.

Or not. To be honest, I could care less what you do.

I have bigger fish to fry.

Newer doors to open.

Wider roads to cross...

Less brain cells than yesterday.

More reason to be optimistic than ever.

/me smiling... out loud

Another Update? I don't believe it! - June 1ST, 2008 ---- MTBondo

Yes, it's true. I'm finally thinking about this website again. I've let it grow stale and it's time to update some things, and maybe even say some shit...

Lord knows I have plenty of material to draw from after all this time.

I can see how this could get out of hand in a hurry, and ultimately TMI for most and regurgitation of old news to those that already know most of what I would likely write about... the biggest event being my mothers amazing story of illness and recovery over the past year. That one event in and of itself is enough source material for me, that I'm afraid to put words to paper on the subject for fear of what might ultimately come out once I got started.

I'll save that for another forum I think. If anyone is unaware of what happened and would like to know, just send me and email and I'll fill you in. It's all good now.

In any case, Mom is doing FANTASTIC!. She's currently up in western NY worrying about having the heat on in the morning.

Beginning of June... cold enough to need the heat on... blech!

Other than that, she's active and busy taking little trips hear and there, among a host of other things that keep her busy.

Truly a miracle Mom. I love you!

Heading in the other direction there is my daughter Michelle and her family...

She got married to her boyfriend Brett last year (surprise!), and little Gregory is now 4 years old, as of May 2nd, 2008.

They're still living in Texas... blech! (is there an emoticon for blech!?)

As long as they're happy, that's all that matters.

I love you too!

A couple of pics of my grandson Gregory that were posted before, but got lost in a shuffle.

I'm pleased to repost them for my own enjoyment.

tyvm!
